Details
This true deck saloon craft features a clean, low profile exterior design, and was designed by Bill Dixon
and built by Marine Projects, one of Europes leading boat builders.
It features a cleverly designed deck layout, rarely found in modern cruising yachts, which is styled so that
the saloon area has excellent all round visibility from both the interior helm station, chart table and the
dining area.

With a fully furling sail plan, twin steering positions and high cruising speeds under power and sail the
strongly built Eclipse will provide both pleasure and safety in all weather.

The spacious interior has three main sleeping cabins. The beautifully fitted forward stateroom
has a double walk around berth, ensuite bathroom and a smart TV.
The guest cabin to port has two single berths with infill to create a comfortable double berth and its own ensuite.
The aft cabin features a double berth with its own wash basin. All cabins have hanging lockers and extensive
storage space.

The teak trimmed galley is positioned low and mid ship to minimise movement at sea. It is comprehensively equipped
and includes a high quality European three burner stove and oven, microwave, upright S/S fridge and top opening freezer.
In addition, there is a deep double stainless sink, hot and cold water mixing tap and salt water tap and ample below and
overhead storage.

All sail controls lead aft to the cockpit, including the head sail and in mast furling systems, reducing the need to go
forward while under sail and leaving a large and uncluttered fore-deck to enjoy while at anchor.
In winds between 11-20kts, the Eclipse, on a reach, can comfortably track at between 5-7kts with only a light touch
on the helm.

The sturdy turbo charged 78hp Perkins diesel engine makes for easy motor sailing speeds while the bow thruster makes
berthing a breeze.

Built in England under Loyd's supervision, the Eclipse 43 was constructed to stand up to conditions in both the North Sea
and Baltic Sea. It is now Australian flagged for ease of international travel.

Imported from Germany in 2006 by the previous owner this is a unique opportunity to own a special and sort after yacht,
which has been well maintained and had numerous upgrades. With only 38 ever built rarely does an Eclipse 43 become
available.
